A humidor is a humidity-controlled chamber used for storing cigars, cigarettes, or pipe tobacco. Either too much or too little humidity can be harmful to tobacco products. The humidor maintains a steady, desirable moisture level and protects its contents from damage and deterioration from sunlight.
For private use, small wooden boxes holding a few dozen or fewer cigars are common. The ideal relative humidity in a humidor is around 68%–72%. Though it can vary slightly depending on the cigar smoker’s preferences, it should never go higher than 75%.
Three of our locations feature walk in humidors so that you never have to worry about quality when it comes to our products. We recommend buying a tabletop humidor for personal use at home to maintain your collection. We also have travel sized humidor cases for convenience.
